SIX PARTS · SIX PRACTICAL HOURS · ONE CONTINUOUS APP

Build it. Understand it. Operate it.

Build a working AI app in the first hour. Add new capabilities to that same app in every later part.

Pick one tool. Start building.

Use the same OpsDesk app prompt in any of these four tools. Choose one for the workshop.

Get help shaping the idea

Use an assistant to refine your app definition, explain code or plan a test. Then bring the result back to your chosen builder.

These links open the assistant websites. They do not connect a model to OpsDesk or provide runtime API credits.

SAME APP · CHOOSE YOUR WORKFLOW

Choose the depth that fits you.

All three paths build the same capabilities. The explanation and implementation method change; the required app result does not.

No IT knowledge / C-level

Browser-first. Describe the outcome, use a builder and validate the result in plain language.

Explain the words in this route
Backend
The private part of the app that calls AI and runs approved lookups; your builder can generate it.
Tool evidence
Information returned by an actual permitted lookup, not a model’s guess.
Guardrail
A rule enforced by the app before an action can run.

Bring: An owned builder account, available build credits and an explicitly selected app AI/backend option. No terminal is required for this route.

YOUR NEXT CAPABILITYA functional incident inbox and one real AI investigation.
  1. Describe the operator and payments incident in one sentence; choose one builder and confirm available credits.
  2. Paste the app definition. Click create, search, filter and select; ask the builder to fix one actual usability issue.
  3. Use an explicitly selected managed AI option or a supported private server integration. Add keys only through its server-side secret UI, never the project chat.
  4. Click Analyze safely on the selected ticket. Require a real answer with actual evidence, then verify loading and failure messages.

Browser-first: no terminal commands are required in this route. Use supported builder backend features; access and credits remain prerequisites.

Prompt for your builder or coding assistant
Extend our existing OpsDesk app for Part 1: A functional incident inbox and one real AI investigation. Follow this No IT knowledge / C-level learner route. Explain the next action in plain language and use the builder UI; do not require me to run terminal commands. Implement backend checks in code, not just in a prompt. Use synthetic data and my explicitly selected backend. Never invent a successful answer, usage or trace. Keep keys in server secrets. Do not publish, buy credits, activate cloud services or change permissions without specific authority. Complete the route actions, verify actual results and report blockers honestly.

PART 1 · 60 MINUTES

From idea to a working app

See something useful before opening the engine.

A working OpsDesk app: create/search/filter/select tickets, run one real AI investigation, show honest loading/errors, and restart it from written instructions.Open the lab →
PART 2 · 60 MINUTES

Upgrade your app’s agent engine

Turn the helpful assistant into a bounded program.

Your own agent core, a reviewed tool registry and passing behavioral contracts.Open the lab →
PART 3 · 60 MINUTES

Connect models. Know the cost.

Use your own model without guessing its capabilities.

One real model run, a capability record and a cost estimate with explicit assumptions.Open the lab →
PART 4 · 60 MINUTES

Follow every action

Connect agent traces, app traces and operational logs.

A trace map, one exact Langfuse readback and a documented app/log correlation path.Open the lab →
PART 5 · 60 MINUTES

Make the safe path the easy path

Test permissions, ownership, malicious data and honest failures.

A small threat model, negative-test evidence and a mitigation/retest record.Open the lab →
PART 6 · 60 MINUTES

Give your agent a cloud home

Prepare an OCI release that another operator can reproduce.

A release packet, protocol adapter design, rollback plan and explicit acceptance matrix.Open the lab →

Choose your learning lane

Explore: a browser is enough for the guide, product sketch and teaching diagrams. Build: use your own coding assistant, checkout and model runtime for the local labs. Operate: bring your own telemetry project and approved OCI scope for live readback and deployment.

The course supplies written labs, copyable prompts, checks, troubleshooting and a workbook. It does not supply accounts, credits, a running cloud sandbox, recorded videos or certification.
